Set up webcams and troubleshoot video rooms.
Getting on camera
- Connect and test the webcam in Windows.Verify the camera works before opening LIvVE.
- Join a video-capable lobby/room.Not every room exposes camera features.
- Enable your camera.Use the camera/video control provided by the client and grant Windows privacy permission when required.
- Adjust quality for your connection.If video is delayed or choppy, reduce resolution/quality before assuming the room is at fault.

Video is blank or says no connection
- Close other apps using the webcam.
- Confirm Windows camera privacy settings allow desktop applications.
- Reconnect to the room after changing the camera.
- Try a lower quality/resolution on slow or unstable connections.
- If only one person's camera is unavailable, the problem may be at the broadcaster's end.
Privacy reminder
Only enable a camera when you are comfortable with what is visible behind you. Treat live video as recordable even when the room feels private.
