What the LIvVE Pager does

The Pager is the classic clientโ€™s direct member-to-member messaging tool. It can be used to page someone, manage buddy contacts and, where supported, exchange files or invitations.

Send a page

  1. Open the Pager.Use the client Pager command, a member action, or the tray menu.
  2. Select or enter the member.Choose the intended LIvVE member name carefully.
  3. Write the message.Keep it concise; normal LIvVE emoji markup is handled by supported client builds.
  4. Send.If the member is online the page is delivered through the service; availability depends on their pager preferences.

Pager preferences

Pager settings can control who is allowed to contact you and how incoming pages are presented. If pages appear to be missing, check that the sender has not been muted/blocked and that your pager preference is not restricting unknown members.

Use the buddy list for regular contacts.

Adding someone you know to your buddy list makes it easier to find them again and see whether they are online.
