Use classic Pager file transfer safely.
Sending files with the classic Pager
Some classic LIvVE builds support direct file transfer through the Pager/member connection.
- Start from a member connection.Open the Pager or select the recipient.
- Choose the file-transfer action.Select the file you intend to send.
- Confirm the recipient.Do not send private files to the wrong member name.
- Monitor the transfer.Keep LIvVE connected until the transfer reports completion.
Only open files you trust.
A file sent through LIvVE is still an ordinary downloaded file. Scan it with current security software and do not run unexpected executables, scripts or archives simply because they came from a familiar-looking member name.
Received-file location
Older clients allow the receive/download location to be changed in preferences. If you cannot find a completed file, check the client's configured receive folder rather than downloading it repeatedly.
